Asbestos in soil
SC Environmental will conduct a preliminary site investigation (PSI) for asbestos hazards. PSIs can determine if soil is likely to be contaminated and whether further investigation is necessary.
Sites which have previously been contaminated by asbestos containing building materials are likely to contain asbestos fibers in the soil. This could be from previous refurbishments / demolitions / damage from earthquakes.
We can provide reports which contain qualitative (present or not) or quantitative (how much asbestos is present) In addition we can test for lead and other metals if required.
